Shoot 1 evaluation
For my first shoot I deviated from my original plan to
shoot in Caistor and instead I shot in the Little London / Stallinborough area,
this change in location meant that the fields I shot in didn’t have the
background I was hoping for as the area is mostly flat with roads surrounding
the fields, this meant that I had to stay close to the ground with this shoot
as to try and avoid the background.
For this shoot I tried to create a picnic scene with
the basket and blanket but due to the tractor tracks going throughout the field
meant that the ground was uneven and was hard to balance the oil. Later in the
shoot I tried to use the tractor tracks to my advantage and place bottles of
oil in them to subtly show the machines that harvest the rapeseed, I also got a
range of images of the field itself so I could try and composite images of the
oil onto to experiment with.
Overall I feel that this shoot went well as even
though I had to change location I still feel that I got some images that I will
be able to use and possibly be final images.
